  • Decided to rework a final paper into an EduCHI 2026 paper submission with a ~2.5 week notice

  • Rejected from the PD Soros Fellowship

December

  • Wrote everyday for two weeks straight because of final papers and revisions for our CHI 2026 paper, PaperTok

    • Lesson learned: Writing everyday is mentally possible but physically painful without the right peripherals. Pack your nice keyboard!!

  • Applied for summer 2026 research internships at Adobe, Google, and Microsoft

  • PaperTok is given a Revise and Resubmit decision for CHI 2026

October

  • Applied to the PD Soros Fellowship

September — A month of many first’s!

  • First day of my HCDE PhD journey!
